Musharraf’s US Doctor Claims He Should Be Shifted Abroad

In recent news from Islamabad it was revealed that General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf’s doctor, who resides abroad, has asked him to move abroad for his treatment.

Currently the former president of Pakistan is being tried in a civilian court but a medical report was submitted to the court, where it was stated that he cannot make it to his case hearings since he is suffering from a severe health problem. The reports were later claimed to be true, which means that he needs to move out of the country in order to receive full treatment.

The most recent news stated that his own doctor has asked him to complete his recovery in Paris, Texas and for that he will have to move abroad for the time being.

A written letter by Dr Arjumand Hashmi was presented by Musharraf’s council right before the special court hearing his treason case.

The same doctor has been treating General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf since the year 2006. He claims that the former president of Pakistan’s medical reports show a high amount of coronary artery heart disease and this can later result in a heart attack. Therefore, in order to fully treat it, Musharraf will have to leave the country in order to get fully treated.
