Maulana Alam Moosvi Gunned Down in Peshawar

It was reported from Peshawar that Maulana Alam Moosvi lost his life after two unidentified gunmen open fired on him near his residence in Dhaki Munawar Shah Area on Monday.

There have been several such cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and last time when the Awami National Party leader, Mian Mushtaq, met an ill fate alongside his friend and driver, ANP decided to put the blame on Imran Khan and the current Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak.

This time the case was similar. Maulana Alam Moosvi was near his home without too much security. This is when two armed men, who were riding a bike, open fired on the Maulana and he lost his life on the spot. The incident took place in Dhaki Munawar Shah Area of Pehsawar.

Sources claim that the assailants, who are responsible for this incident, were able to escape from the scene with quite an ease.

Maulana’s body was taken to a nearby hospital later on. The medical and legal formalities are being fulfilled in the same hospital.

Police claim that they are currently trying to investigate the case and once they get a clue regarding the people behind this whole incident, they are going to catch them for sure.
