3 Kidnappers Killed in Quetta
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 9:01:15 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Quetta that a police raid which turned into a clash with alleged kidnappers saw 3 kidnappers dying as both the parties were involved in a cross-fire. Reports also claim that during the whole incident two cops and a bystander sustained injuries. This incident took place on Sariab Road, which is located inside the city of Quetta.
The Quetta police chief, Abdul Razzaq Cheema, spoke to the press regarding the whole situation. He stated that the police force decided to conduct a raid on the house which is located near Sariab Road after they received information regarding the presence of a few kidnappers.
When the police reached the house, they were welcomed with heavy firing and hand grenades. During this crossfire, an ASI, Policeman and a bystander sustained injuries. On the other hand, three alleged kidnappers lost their lives in the process.
After the clash, police managed to recover a kidnapped individual who was a trader by profession. He was identified as Mukesh Kumar. It was late revealed that Kumar was kidnapped from the Sariab area of the city. Once he was recovered, he was in a shock and badly wounded as well. This is why he was shifted to the CMH Hospital in order to fully recover from these wounds.
