Key Militant Loses Life in North Waziristan
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 9:02:18 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Miranshah that a Taliban commander, Adnan Rashid, lost his life during military strikes which took place in North Waziristan. Even though the security sources claim that Adnan Rashid is dead, Taliban have totally denied these reports, claiming that he is still alive.
Quite a different story was heard this Tuesday when the nation was told that Pakistan Air Force is going to attack the North Waziristan Area. Therefore, early on Tuesday, military jets and gunship helicopters flew in order to pound all military hideouts in the Mir Ali area of the North Waziristan. Reports claim that during the attack at least 40 militants lost their lives. Unconfirmed reports also stated that Adnan Rashid’s house also became a target of the Pakistani Air Force and that is why he died in the operation as well.
Adnan Rashid was sentenced to death back in 2004, when he made an attack on the former president of Pakistan, General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf. He was one of the 400 inmates who manage to storm out of the Bannu prison back in 2012. He was imprisoned after he was sentenced to death for trying to murder General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.
Adnan Rashid was also the mastermind behind the Dera Ismail Khan jailbreak in which at least 170 prisoners managed to escape.

OK, Please correct that he was killed not he losses his life? what the hack is this, he was a jehadi but he also killed hundreds of innocent people so why you still use soft word like losses his life, straight away say he was killed. why the hack we pakistani are confused about these TTP, Lashkar-e-jhangvi or any other organisation associated with them or like them are simply enemies of pakistan and pakistanis and there is only one option that is eleminate. states dont do talks with those who dont have any agenda at all and to those who simply just oppose the basic constituion of the country and try to build their rules and rit… f…..k em alll and please pakistanis wake up….
There is a typo in “pound all military hideouts”. It should be “militant hideouts.”
