Three Killed in Karachi after Hand Grenade Attacks

In recent news, Karachi was once again under attack and this time the incident took place in Lyari area of the city. It has been reported that at least three people were killed while three more were injured when hand grenade attacks took place in the Lyari area of the city.

Such incidents have taken place before as well where two different gangs have collided and killed few people in collateral damage. This time clashes were reported once again between rival groups and gangs and once again this gang warfare had terrorized the city of Karachi.

The incident which took place on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, was quite close to the Juna Masjid. This is where the hand grenades were thrown.

Now the analysts claim that there is definitely going to be a reaction for the three lives which have been lost. The city of Karachi is now caught in the middle of a turf war and this is not going to end unless the other party makes an attempt to kill people of the party that made the grenade attack.

Lyari is famous for its dense network of slums housing over a million people. Criminal gangs can operate quite freely and they try to exert control over businesses and residents in the city.
