Lahore High Court Takes Action for Acid Attack

Recently media revealed the news about a husband attacking his wife with acid after she gave birth to a daughter. This incident took place in Jahanian and now the Lahore High Court has taken action against it.

The complaint cell decided to bring this particular case under consideration on Wednesday as they took notice of the acid attack which the husband made on Tuesday night.

At the moment the detailed report is not out. This is the reason why the district and sessions judge of Khanewal has been asked to look into the matter. He is the one who is going to take full notice of the incident and then provide the Lahore High Court with a detailed report as well.

The report which the press released stated that a man threw acid on his wife’s face after she gave birth to their daughter on Tuesday. This incident took place in Jinnah Colony.

As a result the victim has got severe burns across her face. She has been shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) and is currently in a critical condition. On the other hand, the accused managed to escape the crime scene altogether.

Police have registered the case and investigations have already started.
