PCB Plans to Take Advice from Former Players for WC 2015

It was recently reported from Lahore that Pakistan Cricket Board is willing to take a strong action in order to succeed in the upcoming World Cup, which is going to take place next year in 2015. They are planning to take advice from the former players of Pakistan, especially the ones who were in the winning squad of 1992.

Zaka Ashraf held a meeting in which he decided to take this action. The meeting took place in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Currently the former players who were also a part of the World Cup winning squad back in 1992, Javed Miandad and Intikhab Alam, are both a part of the Pakistan Cricket Board. They are serving as Director General and Direction International Cricket respectively.

When Pakistan managed to win the World Cup back in 1992, Javed Miandad was the vice-captain of the team while Intikhab Alam was the head coach.

During the time these meetings will be held with the former Pakistani players, Misbah Ul Haq and Mohammad Hafeez will both be present so they can fully understand how the senior players want them to perform.

Javed Miandad and Intikhab Alam will decide the names of the players who will be selected to advice the current Pakistani players and coaches on this matter.
