Towns of Sindh Observing Shutter-Down Strike

Sindh has been the centre of attention since the past six months; the reason being the amount of incidents which have been taking place. The rangers and other law enforcement agencies are trying their best to get hold of all the people who are involved in unlawful activities. This in return, has shown a lot of retaliation from such people. Several people have lost their lives because of this cross-fire between the security personnel and criminals.

Most recently the Hazara community was affected while JUI-S was also protesting because of the death of their leader. This is the reason why Karachi was closed down throughout Friday and it was expected to remain close on Saturday as well.

All colleges, school and universities were also shut down.

However, in most towns of Sindh, a shutter-down strike is being observed by most of the traders. This is being done on the call of Jeay Sindh Mutahidda Mahaz (JSMM), who are protesting against the protection of Pakistan ordinance and the statement that was released regarding the division of Sindh.

Sources claim that all shops and businesses will remain closed. Moreover, petrol pumps have not been opened in several cities as well.

The strike observed by the public transport is also causing great inconvenience to the people.
