Edward Snowden launches another salvo towards Spy-Happy Americans

US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden has made another startling accusation regarding the nefarious affairs of the now infamous NSA, the official American spy agency. In his latest revelation, Mr. Snowden has said that the United States’ intelligence agency didn’t just limit itself to the security matters; rather it also spied on the major industrial units inside Germany.
While referring to the German engineering firm Seimens, Mr. Snowden told ARD: “If there is information at Siemens that they [the NSA] think would be beneficial to the national interests, not the national security, of the United States, they will go after that information and they’ll take it.”
This is the second time; Mr. Snowden has released details about the furtive and unethical activities, related to Germany, which the United States has been carrying out.
In his initial accusation, Snowden, who has been awarded asylum in Russia, revealed how the Americans bugged the mobile phone of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, which pretty much turned out to be true and has created a huge trust gulf between the two countries.
