Sindh Police to Recruit 500 Retired Army Men
Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 10:19:27 by Ahmad MehdiRecently an advertisement given by DIG Establishment stated that they are currently planning to employ as many as 500 police officers in the Sindh police. This is being done in order to avoid the shortage in the area.
Reports believe that this is being done because of the operation currently taking place in Karachi. The security forces, rangers, police officers and other law enforcing agencies have picked up pace in order to eliminate everyone who is responsible for all unlawful activities in the city of Karachi. However, the DIG Establishment advertisement has clearly stated that they are not recruiting men in order to help them for this operation.
Currently there is a shortage in the number of personnel in the Sindh Police. This is why retired army men are being recruited in the police force of Sindh. This means that at least 500 retired army men will now be employed into the Sindh police force. The sole purpose of this exercise is to overcome the shortage in the area.
The recruitment has already started and several people who are currently employed now have the opportunity to work for the government once again. Police forces of other provinces have also shown interest in this recruitment process.
