Abdul Aziz Does Not Want to Be Involved in Taliban Talks
Saturday, February 1st, 2014 9:44:31 by Ahmad MehdiPakistan’s main agenda these days is the penetration of Taliban within the cities. The outlawed organization has been involved in several terrorist acts and even though the rangers and police forces are trying to get their hands on all of them, they are failing miserably.
Forces, rangers and other law enforcing agencies have tried their luck on getting a hold of such people. Different cities have designated teams in order to capture these people so that any terrorist attacks can be stopped; but things have been quite challenging for the government.
Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef now states that Pakistan should hold peace talks with Taliban. Every time the two parties have come close to progress in the peace talks, they have failed to do so. However, this time Taliban have presented Pakistan with a list of people they are willing to speak with. The list includes the likes of Imran Khan and also Maulana Abdul Aziz.
In recent news, the Laal Masjid kateeb, Maulana Abdul Aziz, has excused himself from becoming a part of these peace talks. He claims that he cannot be a part of this unless he is assured that no operation is going to be conducted.
