Ishaq Dar Calls On His UAE Counterpart

Ishaq Dar is currently having several meetings with United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his most recent meeting took place on Wednesday where he met Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He is the deputy ruler of Dubai and also the Minister of Finance and Industry of UAE.
During the meeting Ishaq Dar thanked Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, claiming that Pakistan cherishes the friendly ties with UAE. Besides this, several subjects of mutual interest were touched upon during the meeting.
Ishaq Dar claimed that the Pakistani industry has started showing improvement in terms of growth. He then stated figures that the Pakistani industry has grown positively by 5.2 percent while the revenue collection only in the month of January was PKR167 billion.
The finance minister of Pakistan also spoke about the cooperation for economic development within the country. On the other hand, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid extended his best wishes to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif.
Ishaq Dar lastly spoke about Lahore, which he believes to be an attraction in the world of tourism.
