Ashraf to Fight Pakistan’s Case with Good Faith
Friday, February 7th, 2014 7:24:40 by Ahmad MehdiThe chairman of the Pakistani Cricket Board, Zaka Ashraf, said that he is going to fight Pakistan’s case with an utmost good faith as the International Cricket Council’s meeting is expected to take place on Saturday.
While talking to the media regarding the strength of India and how Pakistan is expected to overcome this problem, Zaka Ashraf said, “No matter how strong India maybe, we will have our say in the strongest of words.”
Sources claim that there is a decision pending regarding a draft proposal given by the so-called big 3: England, Australia and India. They are planning to take centre stage at the meeting. Last time the ICC was not able to reach a conclusion and delayed their reforms when the meeting took place in Dubai.
The other three countries, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and South Africa, have smaller cricket economies. These three countries have thought about considering a few radical changes which can be brought into the International Cricket Council; which have been proposed by the rich boards of the big 3. The opposing 3 have already rejected those proposals in the previous meeting that took place back in January.
