Government Committee’s Demands to be Conveyed to Taliban
Saturday, February 8th, 2014 8:05:26 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Peshawar by Maulana Yousaf Shah, the coordinator of the Taliban Talk Committee, that the government committee is expected to meet Taliban in a matter of three days.
It is important to note that the Pakistani government is willing to hold peace talks with the outlawed organization, Tehreek E Taliban. For this process two committees have been made. One is going to represent the Pakistani government and the other will be representing Tehreek E Taliban.
For now Taliban are willing to come to common ground with the Pakistani government. However, this is going to get solved in a matter of months since there are several differences between the two parties.
The time and venue of the meeting is yet to be finalized as both the parties are currently taking a decision on this and they want it all to take place in a safe location.
The demands of the government committee are going to take place when the meeting is held.
The government committee will also learn about the viewpoint of Taliban, who are trying to come on common grounds during this time period. This is also going to take place during the meeting.
