Saturday, February 8th, 2014 8:06:46 by Ahmad MehdiIslamabad: A joint research by Finnish and Swedish scientists revealed that Vitamin E plays a huge role in the prevention of age-related memory disorders.
The research involved the University of Eastern Finland Karlolinska, Institute of Sweden and other medical research institutes. They worked on various forms of Vitamin E and showed how they have a positive effect on the memory disorders which exist in the humans once they start getting old. This whole research was reported by the Finnish Daily Helsingin Sanomat Xinhua News.
The new finding came as a surprise to all the scientists because previously everyone worked on how Vitamin E’s vital family member, Alpha Tocopherol, helps the memory disorders. However, now they have changed their research by introducing other family members of the same Vitamin
According to Dr Miia Kivipelto, Vitamin E exists in eight different natural forms. Moreover, the entire family of these eight different natural forms actually work towards certain memory disorders.
He also spoke about how the supplements from Vitamin E which are available in the market only contain Alpha Tocopherol. He says people should eat vegetable oil, nuts and whole grain cereals in order to in-take Vitamin E and most of its components.
