It was recently reported from Karachi that the former president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, had a telephonic conversation with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain. The two discussed the current deteriorating law and order situation which exists in the southern province, Sindh.

Most recently an MQM personnel was caught while he was getting married. After getting arrested, two policemen gave him a severe beating and tortured him to the point that he was hospitalized. This has resulted in a lot of anger from not only the MQM voters and supporters, but also the political party and its leaders.

Sources claim that the two leaders of separate political parties spoke about how the government should take a strict action against both these policemen, who were involved in unlawful and illegal activities.

The two also spoke about how Sindh should start developing as a process. They claimed that each and every person currently residing in Sindh is a Sindhi and they should work together in peace and harmony so that this province and its people can hold hands and development can be made accordingly.

Currently both these men are not living in Pakistan.
