Sanaullah Believes Peace Talks are in National Interest
Wednesday, February 12th, 2014 5:59:16 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Lahore that the Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah Khan, came out in the open in order to talk about the peace talks which are taking place with the outlawed organization, Tehreek E Taliban.
There have been several instances where people have lost their lives and Taliban were the ones who took responsibility of the situation. On the other hand, the government also carried out an operation with the Taliban where they also lost a lot of people.
However, both the parties are now willing to take part in peace talks. They believe that the only way to resolve these issues is through dialogue and not through a bullet.
Rana Sanaullah Khan, while talking about these peace talks, stated that Pakistan really needs to get rid of terrorism once and for all. He stated that there are fifty to sixty groups of Taliban who are still against peace talks and they could be the ones behind the bomb blasts which are taking place these days.
He also claimed that currently anti-terrorist operations are being carried out in Karachi and was happy how the Sindh government is assisting the overall goal which the security forces have in mind.
