CNG Stations to Remain Closed for 24 Hours in Sindh
Friday, February 14th, 2014 9:13:43 by Ahmad MehdiCNG has been causing a lot of problems throughout the country and once again the Sindh Government has decided that the CNG stations are going to remain closed throughout Saturday.
Currently Pakistan is experiencing a lot of problem in the energy department. This does not only mean electricity, but also CNG, which has been really short in the past two years. This is the reason why there has been a gas load shedding throughout the country.
The capital, Islamabad, and several other cities are not being given CNG on a daily basis but Sindh has been receiving it throughout the year. Karachi, which is the main buyer of the energy source, has always been a priority when it comes to giving out CNG.
However, despite the fact that Karachi is a major buyer of gas, the Sindh government decided to close down the CNG Stations throughout Sindh on Saturday. This is the reason why fewer vehicles were seen on the road. Since it was a weekend, people could afford not going to work and that is exactly what happened.
It is being assumed that the supply is going to be back after 24-hours and people will be getting CNG on Sunday.
