Pakistan Celebrates Valentine’s Day

14th of February is considered to be a day of love around the world and Pakistan has claimed that they are going to celebrate it with the rest of the world. Every year on 14th of February loved ones give each other red roses and express their love for each other.
It was quite a shock for the people to see that this day was being celebrated throughout the country of Pakistan. What was even more shocking was the fact that it was being observed in Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other major cities of the country as well.
Karachi was leading the race in terms of preparation of this special day. There were several areas where people met each other and even held parties. The renowned singer, Sajjad Ali, even came all the way from Dubai in order to perform in a function that was taking place on Valentine’s Day. Sindh Festival also organized a Ghazal night which included the likes of Ghulam Ali, Farida Khanum, Asif Mehdi and Humaira Channa.
Reports claim that people have also organized dance parties in their homes and farm houses which are located far away from the busy cities.
