TTP Claims Killing 23 FC Personnel in Custody

It was recently reported from Islamabad that the outlawed group, Tehreek E Taliban Pakistan has recently claimed that they executed as many as 23 FC personnel in their custody.

The statement was sent out through media outlets by the Mohmand Agency Taliban chief, Umar Khalid Khurasani. He claimed that they killed FC soldiers which have been in their custody of quite some time. He stated that this is being done in order to avenge the death of several Taliban who have been killed throughout Pakistan.

These 23 soldiers were kidnapped by Taliban back in 2010 from the Shongari Checkpost which is located in Mohmand Agency.

Tehreek E Taliban Pakistan issued a statement where they claimed they were angry about the dual stance of the Pakistani Government regarding Talibans who are currently being killed throughout the country. They claimed that despite the fact that the Pakistani government wants a peace talk, they are still killing several Taliban soldiers throughout the country.

The statement said, “The killing of FC personnel is the revenge for the blood of our associates. We want to make it clear to the government that we know very well how to avenge the killings of our members.”
