Pakistani Warplanes Pound Militant Hideouts as Peace Talks Collapse
Thursday, February 20th, 2014 10:41:46 by Ahmad MehdiPeshawar: The fate of peace talks between the Pakistani government and Taliban was hanging by a thread and that thread was cut down last night when the Pakistani warplanes bombarded militant hideouts in North Waziristan. Sources claim that at least 15 local and foreign militants were killed in the aftermath.
The aircraft bombarded militant hideouts in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan and the surgical strikes were carried out after military leaders took civilian government into confidence. However, now questions are being raised whether this puts the people of Pakistan under serious threat.
Militant leaders, on the other hand, claim that these attacks were aimed in order to protect the people of Pakistan as the militants were planning to carry out terrorist attacks in the country.
Furthermore, it is being said that if the government is ready to launch an official operation then PAF warplanes are ready to attack the militants in the first phase and later other steps will be taken soon after the weather conditions in the mountainous regions improve.
It was also confirmed that these attacks were carried out after credible intelligence information and there was absolutely no fear of collateral damage.

Well Done! May God go with you and protect you!
the patience of the govt was taken as their weakness.the govt and the loyal army have answered your queries about the talis ceasefire and rubbed imu’s nose in your unwashed turbans for doubting the army’s capability!
imu’s opposition to the govt at every stage and demeaning the army(simply for the reason that he lost the elections and become PM) hindered the progress the govt wished to make.It would appear imu had a vested interest in the govt appearing “weak” and the tali terrorists murderers and rapist having an upper hand
