CNG Stations to Remain Shut for 25 Hours in Sindh
Monday, February 24th, 2014 11:01:06 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Karachi that once again the CNG stations are going to shut down throughout Sindh. Pakistan is currently going through an energy crisis, and now gas is also a part of those fuels which are low in quantity.
First Pakistan was going through an electricity problem. This is when the electricity load shedding started within the country. People were deprived of electricity for several hours and this continues till date.
Now, however, another crisis has occurred in the country. Once famous for having one of the largest gas reserves in the world, Pakistan is now experiencing a problem in terms of gas. They do not have sufficient gas to provide it throughout the country not only as a fuel but also for domestic usage.
This is why gas load shedding has also started. People were suffering inn winters as they did not receive any gas to burn their heaters.
Things have been better since the past one month but they are definitely not reaching a satisfactory level. This is also the reason why the government has decided to opt for a gas load shedding in different CNG pumps.
For now Sindh is going to experience a load shedding of at least 24 hours and no vehicle will be getting any CNG throughout this time.
