It was recently reported from Karachi that a cylinder explosion left four people injured in the Liaquatabad area of the city.

Reports claim that on Tuesday morning a gas cylinder exploded inside a house with four family members. All the people were sitting in a closed space and were left severely injured in the aftermath.

When the case was investigated, it was revealed that there was a gas leakage in the cylinder and while the woman in the house tried to light a match to switch on the gas heater, the cylinder caught fire and exploded.

Due to this the house was badly damaged and all the four people sitting together were severely injured.

All four of the injured family members were shifted to a nearby hospital. However, they had to get shifted to a burn centre, which is located far away from their homes.

Recent reports claim that two of them are out of danger while the other two are in a critical condition and have been shifted to the ICU.

When the press inquired about the identities of all these four members of the family, the hospital did not cooperate and kept their identities hidden.

  1. Since in today’s world the cooking is being carried
on the gas stoves. So we should be very cautious while
handling it. Further some fool proof modification is
made to prevent such severe accidents. The location
of kitchen should open and airy,so that there is
least damage caused by gas leakage.
