Tuesday, February 25th, 2014 11:34:46 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Peshawar that a suicide bomb blast, which took place near the Iranian consulate, killed 3 Frontier Cops. The blast took place near the Iranian consulate and at a check post where eight other FC personnel were injured.
The IG Police, Nasir Khan Durrani, explained to the press how there were many militants who wanted to take down the FC check post. However, the soldiers were able to kill most of them and one was left who managed to reach the check post in order to detonate the bomb on his chest.
He also claimed that the FC forces tried to stop the attacker but they were unable to do so and that gave him the time to detonate the bomb.
However, the FC personnel were still able to stop the attacker from reaching the Iranian consulate.
Sources state that this particular suicide bomber reached the site on a white Suzuki Alto. The bomb disposal squad was able to handle the rest of the explosives which were inside the vehicle. BDS claims that the vehicle at least carried 60 kilogram of explosives.
In other reports it is being said that the suicide bomber was between 15 to 17 years old.
