Explosion on Rahim Yar Khan Railway Track
Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 6:37:11 by Ahmad MehdiPakistan and Taliban had finally reached a ceasefire but the attacks are not coming to an end. First the incident took place in the F-8 Kacheri where 11 people lost their lives and now the railway track in Rahim Yar Khan was under fire.
Tehreek E Taliban stated that they want a ceasefire with the Pakistani government, who ordered the Pakistan Air Force to launch an airstrike in the North Waziristan area of the country.
The peace talks were about to commence when Tehreek E Taliban decided to kill all the 23 FC personnel they held captive since 2010. This is when the government took the signal that they are only trying to punch a wall. In return, the government ordered airstrikes in North Waziristan which resulted in a ceasefire once again. However, now Tehreek E Taliban are back on the aggressive stance. They managed to attack the F-8 Kacheri in Islamabad and also planted a bomb on the Rahim Yar Khan Railway track.
According to sources, the explosion took place near Maachi Goth area of the city. There was another bomb planted in the area as well, but it was defused by the bomb disposal squad.
Now the railway traffic has been blocked and it will not be opened until further notice.
