Private Airline’s Jetliner Sprayed with Bullets at Islamabad Airport
Thursday, March 20th, 2014 11:31:14 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Islamabad that bullets were fired at a private airline’s jetliner. This happened early in the morning when the plane was landing at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport which is located in the capital city of Pakistan.
The security conditions have been quite stringent for the police and other law enforcing agencies. Things have not really been going their way since the past two months. This is the second terrorist attack which has taken place in the vicinity of Islamabad.
The first attack took place when three young unknown men entered the F-8 area of Islamabad and after firing they even threw grenades and then blew themselves up. That incident is still fresh in the minds of the locals of Islamabad. However, now a new incident has taken place.
The jetliner was trying to land on the runway when it was sprayed with bullets. No one knows who is responsible for shooting these bullets; however, not a single person was harmed as the pilot safely managed to land the plane.
The police and other law enforcing agencies are now on a patrol as they are looking for the person who is responsible for committing this act. Investigations are still in progress.
