Friday, March 21st, 2014 1:26:00 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Karachi that the former interior minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik, spoke against the outlawed organization, Tehreek E Taliban. He also spoke about how this organization can eventually evolve into a political party.
Rehman Malik landed on the Karachi Jinnah International Airport and took out time to speak to the media. While talking to the press he said that the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, is going in the right direction and his intentions should not be doubted. However, he warned the Pakistani nation that Taliban have broken many agreements before and these peace talks could just be another one of those broken deals.
He further claimed that Taliban and Pakistan should not be involved in a deal where the country’s integrity is on the line. Moreover, he said that Pakistan should not enter a place where they have to vilify the country.
Rehman Malik then talked about the sources from where Taliban receive their heavy ammunition and weapons. He said that these sources were always doubted and Pakistan should get into the gist of the matter.
Before leaving he said that Pakistan People’s Party is going to meet up with Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
