Chris Martin Breaks Up with Gwyneth Paltrow

Much to the dismay of fans and lovers around the world, lead vocalist of Coldplay and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced this Tuesday, March 25, 2014, that they were to split up soon on Paltrow’s Goop website. Rumor has it that their ten year long marriage was not actually as perfect and ideal as fans believed.

Ever since Chris Martin wrote the beautiful, heart wrenching “Fix You” for Paltrow upon her father’s death, the world fell in love with their love. However, sources are not splashing dirt on the couple saying they had been in an “open relationship” for quite a while now. A source said, “I expected this was going to happen, it was just a matter of when.

They were just very different people.” Over the years, many rumors of extramarital affairs have surrounded the couple, which it has always blatantly denied. Source says that Martin has actually been troubled by the marriage for over three years now, saying that “All the rumors about the cheating got to him.”

The couple managed to stay out of the media buzz till now, but sources say that Paltrow has been worried that the rumors would make their way into the much talked about (but never published) Vanity Fair story.

It is being said that she was also aware that the story had information about them being on the verge of splitting up, too. She was troubled by that because she wanted to control how the news went public and how the kids found out.

The couple has isolated itself and the children in the Bahamas for now. Martin, Paltrow and their kids are reportedly camping out to avoid the media frenzy surrounding the couple and to break the news in a good (though there might not be any good in this) way to their children.
