It was recently reported from Lahore that the Pakistan Cricket Board has personally invited their former cricketer, wicketkeeper and batsman, Rashid Latif, to take the position of chief selector.

The Pakistani cricketing body is currently going through a few renditions. Despite this, the Pakistani team has been doing a wonderful job in different tournaments which they have taken part in.

Now the Pakistani cricket board needs a new chief selector and they have given a direct offer to their former wicketkeeper, Rashid Latif.

The former Pakistani captain stated at first stated that he is not willing to work for the Pakistan Cricket Board. He claimed that the conditions in which he will have to work are absolutely unsuitable and he cannot tolerate them.

However, now things have changed. The cricketing body has personally gone up to the former player and asked him to take the role of chief selector.

Sources claim that the last day for Rashid Latif to accept or reject the offer is 14th April 2014. He has to take a decision before that date in order to become the chief selector for the Pakistani Cricket Board.

Now the ball is in his court and he has to take the final decision before the aforementioned date.
