Professor Ibrahim Wants Taliban Talks to Move On
Friday, April 11th, 2014 5:45:18 by Ahmad MehdiThe member of the Taliban Committee, Professor Ibrahim, recently came out in the open and claimed how he wants the talks between the two parties to progress now.
While addressing the media, Professor Ibrahim said, “We hope the deadlock will end and the process will move forward, efforts are on to convert the temporary ceasefire into lasting peace. And if there are some hurdles we will use the second option that will be to persuade both the sides for an extension in ceasefire.”
Pakistan is currently involved in a Government-Taliban peace talk. All this started when certain politicians claimed that the only way to stop Taliban from doing unlawful activities in the country is by holding a certain dialogue and coming to common ground.
Now both the parties are trying their best to find a common ground. They both do not agree to certain things and now they have to since the final round of the talks is edging closer.
Pakistan has been trying hard to get the best out of these talks but there is always something that comes up between both the parties.
For now it is being said that both the parties are trying their best to reach a common ground as it is going to be a positive step for both of them.
