Blast in Quetta Fruit Market
Saturday, April 12th, 2014 5:48:12 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Quetta that a blast took place in the fruit market of the city, luckily leaving no injured or dead in the aftermath.
This is the second incident in the same week where the blast has taken place in a fruit market. The first incident took place between the twin cities of Pakistan; Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The blast took place in the fruit market that is located near Metro.
The “Metro Mandi” experienced the blast early in the morning around 8:30 AM and that is when there are less people in the area. However, despite that fact, at least 40 people died and far more were left injured.
The blast in Rawalpindi occurred with explosives being inside packets of certain fruits such as guava.
Now a similar incident has taken place in the fruit market of Quetta. The source of the explosion has not been identified.
The blast was heard after unidentified culprits hurled a cracker. However, despite the fact that a loud noise was heard, later the news reported that not even a single person was harmed or injured in the process.
The police is now trying to investigate the matter so they can know why the blast took place.
