Mohammad Aamir Still not Illegible for World Cup 2015
Saturday, April 12th, 2014 5:48:57 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently revealed from Lahore that the Pakistani Cricket Board has taken a decision over the talented bowler Mohammad Aamir, but despite the fact that he is going to resume domestic cricket, he will still not be illegible to play in the Cricket World Cup 2015.
Mohammad Aamir received a ban from international cricket after he was caught in a scandal regarding spot and match fixing during a series which Pakistan played against the English side.
This ban still exists and the Pakistani bowler is not allowed to play any sort of local, domestic or international cricket. This is the reason why he is still resting out his career and is expected to make a return in the following year, 2015.
That is when he will be allowed to play domestic cricket. However, despite that fact, he will still not be able to make a comeback to international cricket; which eventually means that he will not be able to represent Pakistan in the Cricket World 2015 which is taking place next year.
While talking about how they want him to return to action, Ahmad said, “What we have tried to convince the ICC to do is to allow him to be back into domestic cricket by reviewing his ban period so that he is ready when the time comes for him to play international cricket.”
