Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 5:56:32 by Hunain NaseerTwo brothers, Farman Ali and Mohammad Arif, suspecting of cannibalizing human bodies, were presented in front of an anti-terrorism court today, and were sent on a 7-day physical remand.
Tuesday morning the police reportedly arrested Farman Ali, the brother of Mohammad Arif, both of whom were charged under anti-terrorism laws and for desecrating a human body after the head of a child was found at their residence.
Shockingly, the duo was earlier arrested in 2011 for eating human corpses in the same village, and was convicted to serve 2 years in prison.
According to Mohammad Arif, who was arrested earlier, his brother Farman Ali had stolen the body of a two-day-old child from a graveyard and the two cooked and ate it.
The Police chief of Bhakkar district, Ameer Abdullah, stated that the two brothers are in detention over anti-terrorism laws due to there being no offence of cannibalism in Pakistan.
Back in 2011, when the duo was arrested, the body of a 24-year-old female was found at their house, and they had eaten her leg. It is believed that the two brothers will now undergo a psychiatric examination.
According to the police, the two men lived alone since their families and wives had left them years ago.
