Bhakkar Cannibals Sent on Remand for 7 Days
Thursday, April 17th, 2014 10:36:27 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Bhakkar that two cannibals were caught but since the area has no punishment for cannibalism; therefore, both of them will be roaming around freely afterwards.
This is not the first time that such an incident has taken place. The Pakistani law currently has nothing against cannibalism and there is not a single person who is being punished for this crime.
There are several stories which hail from the mountainous regions of the country. It is being said that the people there practice this crime almost regularly but there is absolutely no law that can stop them from this practice.
The most recent event took place with two cannibals who belong to the region of Bhakkar. Muhammd Arif and Farman Ali have been caught in the crime for the second time. However, even this time they will be asked to serve a jail term for only a single year. This means that they will eventually be getting out of the jail and roam around as free men.
The last time the two of these were caught in such a practice was back in the year 2011. Even then both of them served a year’s jail time and were later freed.
