Zardari Visits Drought-hit Tharparker
Friday, April 18th, 2014 8:24:22 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Tharparker that the former president of Pakistan and the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari, took out time to visit the drought-hit region of the country, Tharparker.
Tharparker is currently going through a rough time since there is no water or vegetation for the people living there. This has made life difficult for the people who are currently living there. Moreover, several people, including old men, women and also young children have lost their lives during the time of the drought. It is a tough time for the people of the country and the former president of Pakistan visited the area in order to help the people out.
He also tried to guide the Sindh government about the installation of a water plant in the region. He stated that there should be a water plant for the people who are currently residing there so that they can get rid of these problems. Moreover, he also claimed that he will provide land to Thari farmer women for irrigation.
Zardari also stated that he is going to build a Cadet College in the area.
Moreover, he also stated that at least 150 Dastarkhwan places will be built in the area.
