Asif Believes Attack on Mir is to Silence the Media

It was recently revealed from Karachi that the Defence Minister, Khwaja Asif, came out in the open and labelled the attack on Hamid Mir as an attempt to silence the voice of the media.

While talking to Geo News on Sunday, Khwaja Asif said that the country currently lacks any value for tolerance or harmony.

He also claimed that this whole case is going to be fully investigated and each and every logical conclusion will be revealed later on.

The famous TV anchor of GEO News, Hamid Mir, was recently attacked in Karachi while he was travelling to work from the Karachi Airport.

He managed to survive the attack, but he has been shot thrice during the incident and no one knows about his current condition. The doctors do, however, claim that he will soon recover from all the wounds which he picked up during the incident.

Many famous people came out in the open to condemn the incident and claimed that this attack is a direct threat to the voice of the media. Hamid Mir is the person who often tries to bring everything in the open in order to let the public know about what is actually going on in the country. This is why many people are backing him up throughout the incident.
