China Minmetals Jin Xiao Guang wants to sell copper to the world

China Minmetals Non-Ferrous Metals Holdings Ltd. Deputy General Manager Jin Xiao Guang said China could become a net exporter of refined copper in the next one to two years.

 These remarks show that China ‘s refined copper from the global market to buy spirits may decline, although it still has to import copper concentrate.

 “We may see within one to two years, China has become a net exporter of copper, according to the situation of the industry, ” Jin Xiao told reporters in light of a trade gap Hong Kong meeting.

 Jin Xiao light also said that China ‘s refined copper production capacity is currently sufficient to meet domestic demand, the future should also be able to sell the copper to the global market.

 China is the world’s largest consumer of refined copper. Jin Xiao light, said this year ‘s financing needs depends on imports.

 Given the tightening of credit markets, imports of copper and other commodities are often resold in the domestic market in order to invest in other high- income Chinese financing.
