Young people who were in the Korean ferry tried to escape

South Korean students who were on board the ferry Sewol, which sank on the 16th against Jindo Island, in southwest Korea Surhicieron, got the fingers fractured while trying to escape the ship, one of the divers involved in the task of body recovery described. The divers were able to recover 29 more bodies Wednesday inside the ship. There is no hope of finding passengers alive. The rescue is difficult, by the dim light and the limited autonomy of the teams that have to breathe. Hwang said he has recovered 14 bodies. “We have to play around with your hands. This is the most grueling and heartbreaking mission of my career,” he added. In pursuit 212 ships, 34 aircraft and 550 troops participating emergency. The divers work has been focused in recent days on the third and fourth floor of the boat, which is believed to have taken refuge most passengers.

The Government has said that it will bring out only the ferry if the families of the victims give consent. Relatives of the disappeared remain concentrated on the nearby island of Jindo. The Ministry of Strategy and Finance South Korea reported that each of the families of the victims could receive compensation of up to 260 million won (just over 180,500 euros).
