Armoured Car Business Thriving in Pakistan

It was recently reported from Islamabad that currently the armoured car business is thriving in Pakistan.

The demand for armoured vehicles has increased in recent months. This could be due to the fact that the country is always experiencing certain security threats and issues. There are several politicians, celebrities and other important personalities who want to remain safe while they are out on the road. Therefore, they are more than willing to purchase armoured cars in order to protect themselves and even their families.

For now the report is only based on the data collected from the port city of Pakistan, Karachi. Currently ranked high in one of the most dangerous places to live across the globe, Karachi has witnessed a lot of violence in recent months. Therefore, the demand for armoured vehicles has increased.

A stat claimed that there were more than 2000 people killed in 2013 while more than 100 were abducted for ransom.

People are now opting for armoured cars so they can counter the increasing number of gun and bomb attacks taking place in different areas of the country; especially Karachi.

In order to make a car bullet or bomb proof, at least a $30,000 cost in incurred. This means that this is a solution for only the rich who are present in the country.
