Pakistan Defeat Nepal in Handball Game
Saturday, April 26th, 2014 11:04:44 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Lahore that the Pakistani handball team routed Nepal 33-14 in a match that was played under the banner of Punjab International Sports Festival. The event took place in the Sports Board Punjab, Gymnasium Hall.
The match started with Pakistan dominating the game from the start. By the end of the first half, Pakistan was leading the game 14-8.
As the second half continued, Pakistan kept dominating the game. They were able to score several more goals and finished the game at 33-14.
During the process there were several new, upcoming and talented players who were tested.
Shamsher scored seven goals; Zohaib Jabbar scored 6 while Imran Khan, Zakir Husasin and Sheraz Tariq all managed to net four goals each. Asim Saeed and Awais Raza were able to score two goals apiece. Asif Hayat scored a single goal.
On the other hand, Bhapin Bista and Sherbahdar Sanjali were the two top scorers for Nepal. They were both able to score three goals each. Other contributors included the likes of Amar Sharista, Sabrana Dewan, Ram Parshad, Madan Chanr and Krishna Bahadar. They all managed to score one goal each to make a total of 14 goals against the 33 scored by the Pakistani team.
