Ali Zafar Wins International Star Award at first Pakistani Film Awards

The man who has been single handedly responsible for being an actor, singer, vocalist, lyricist and a composer has done it again! Ali Zafar won the International Star of Pakistan Award at the recently held ARY Film Awards 2014. The ARY Film awards were meant to recognize talent in our country and to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts made by artists for Pakistani cinema.

Ali Zafar who started as a singer became a sensation in the music world with his powerful voice.  The country’s brightest singing sensation then took the bold and unprecedented step of venturing into the Hindi film industry, making a strong acting debut in the 2010 film Tere Bin Laden.

With a string of acting and singing awards to his credit, roles in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, London, Paris, New York, Chashme Badoor and his latest hit Total Siyappa followed, cementing his position as a new star in Bollywood.

Ali Zafar was given the “International Star of Pakistan Award’ for being a source of pride and prestige to Pakistan by getting recognized as a successful actor internationally. PR
