Railways Earn Profits after Years

It was recently reported from Lahore that the Pakistan Railways Minister, Khwaja Saad Rafique, has managed to fulfil his promise and now the department is profitable. According to sources, Khwaja Saad Rafique asked a certain amount of time and he has managed to turn things round within that span of time.

The Pakistan Railways Prem Union Senior Vice President, Sheikh Muhammad Anwar, spoke to the media and talked about how Saad Rafique is the person who is responsible for all the positive effects which are being seen in the railways.

He said that the hectic efforts which have been put forward by the minister are now bearing fruits and people can actually enjoy comfortable trains for the first time in years. He said that extra 6 billion revenues have been generated and by the end of the year it is most likely to mount up to 7 billion.

He also spoke about how this fiscal year is going to be the most profitable one in the history of Pakistan railways. He claimed that the total earning for the sector is going to pile up to more than 28 billion during the year 2014-2015.

He explained that the earlier corruption and mismanagement had made it difficult for the current owners to turn things round but they still managed to do so.
