Mohammad Wasim Reveals Hafiz was not supported by Senior Players

It was recently revealed by Mohammad Wasim that the current captain of the Pakistani T20 side, Mohammad Hafeez, was never really backed by the senior players of the team.

Wasim stated that even though the management always claims that they are preparing for the next World Cup, they are actually not. In fact, he believes that the team is working on a day to day basis. He stated that there are problems in the top management and it flows down right to the bottom. This is the reason why the team never gets the chance to develop itself. Moreover, this is also the reason why there are rifts and differences not only amongst the players, but also amongst the managers who are working at the back of the team.

Currently the Pakistani team is planning to play the Cricket World Cup which is going to take place in February next year. Even though the board is making significant changes in the back, there are still problems which exist between different players and even in the management that is going to take charge of the team.

 The fact that a captain was not backed by the senior players, who are meant to perform in difficult games, simply explains why the Pakistani team was unable to make a significant impact in different tournaments and lost out to average sides during the past year.
