Dr Ebad Claims Pakistan Provides the Best Business Environment

The current governor of Sindh, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, came out in the open and stated that the image of Pakistan is being wrongly portrayed by the media. He believes that the ground realities are quite different and Pakistan is actually one of the best environments for any business in the world.

He called the Ambassador of Finland, Rauli Suikkanen, and spoke to him about the business environment which Pakistan provides to the foreign investors. He also spoke about the avenuesand the potential which the Pakistani market currently has.

He claimed that the negative impression which has been set by the media is the sole reason why investors shy away from coming to Pakistan. However, he was proud to state that different foreign companies that have already invested in Pakistan are willing to expand their businesses in the country.

He further stated that the Pakistani economy is currently trying to progress and in order to do that they will require foreign investments.

Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad stated that the Finnish mobile company, Nokia, has been leading the market share in Pakistan and it is something that both Finland and Nokia should be proud of.

The Ambassador informed the Governor that the incumbent president of Finland had acquired his college education from Swedish Technical College in Karachi.
