After being received by Abdullah and Rania at kings palace Al Husseini, the Pope addressed the national stadium of Haman, as did John Paul II and Benedict XVI celebrate Mass and give Communion to the first 1,400 children, many of them refugees.
The visit to Jordan will continue with a visit to Bethany baptism site on the banks of the Jordan River, and a meeting with a group of refugees and young people with disabilities.
