Pakistan Demands Disciplinary Action against Stuart Broad
Monday, May 26th, 2014 2:42:57 by Ahmad MehdiPakistan Cricket Board has decided to take disciplinary action against the English bowler, Stuart Broad, who has recently come under the spotlight after he directly pointed out at Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action.
Ajmal’s bowling style has been challenged over the years, but after a test was run, it was decided that he is clear and should be allowed to bowl.
However, Stuart Broad claimed on Twitter that a bowler bowls differently in a lab, as compared to taking wickets in the middle of an inning.
This took the attention of not only the media, but also Saeed Ajmal, who is now disrupted over the comments which have flooded under this post.
Pakistan Cricket Board claims that since Ajmal is currently clear because of his action, no other player should be allowed to directly target him. This is the reason why the Pakistani board has written a letter to England and Wales Cricket Board. Pakistan wants to inquire about the action which they are going to take against their bowler, who has made false claims against the Pakistani spinner.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s chief operating officer, Subhan Ahmed said, “We have sent a letter to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and we have enquired from them what action are they planning against Broad since he is a centrally contracted player.”
