British Police Released Pictures of Suspects in Imran Farooq Murder Case

The suspects arrived in United Kingdom on student visas and left the county hours after the murder. It is believed they are now residing in Pakistan.
Dr. Imran Farooq of Muttahida Qaumi Movement was killed in front of his house on Green Lane, Edgware, on 16 September 2010.
According to the details released by Scotland Yard, two Pakistani nationals Mohsin Ali Syed and Muhammad Kashif Khan Kamran are wanted for further questioning in conjunction with the assassination of Dr. Farooq.
The details released said, “The men are known to have registered to study at a college in East London having entered the UK on student visas.”
The Metropolitan police has appealed to the general public in a bid to receive more information regarding the Dr. Farooq’s murder..
“We are appealing to anyone who has not yet come forward but knew either man in Pakistan or during their time in the UK to contact the investigation team,” Metropolitan police said.
“In particular, officers are keen to piece together the men’s movements in the days immediately prior to the murder and their travel out of the UK on 16 September 2010. The two men are believed to be in Pakistan at this time and officers continue to liaise with Pakistani Authorities,” the statement added.
