Family Stoned a Woman to Death In Front of Pakistani Court

A Pakistani woman was killed by members of her family by attacking her with bricks right in front of Pakistan’s Superior court in Lahore where she was waiting for her case to be heard. She has been be victim of ‘honor killing’ which is most probably the easiest way of killing woman and avoid the capital punishment at the same time. All the attackers were able to escape the scene except her father who admitted killing of her daughter for putting ‘family honor’ to shame.
Farzana Parveen, 25 years old woman, had married Mohammad Iqbal against the will of the family members who wanted her to get married with her cousin. A case of kidnapping was registered against her husband. She came to the Lahore High Court to testify that she married the man with her own will and was not kidnapped.
Farzana was attacked by about twenty men with bricks and suffered serious head injuries. She was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead. One more woman has been sacrificed in the name of family honor. It is estimated that at least 1000 women are killed in Pakistan each year to save the family honor.
Umer Cheema, a senior police officer, told reporters that all the killers managed to leave the scene of crime. Police arrested Farzana’s father who was also among the gang of lawless men involved in killing of her daughter.

Hang all those involved in stoning people to death, problem solved.
Farzana Parveen probably knew her family only too well, hence married outside of it. Why on earth would she want to marry a cousin, particularly inside her family of killers. Shame on the court who put her in harms way and Lehores wonderful police department who watched the murder. Thanks for reminding me why I abhore Sharia Law and its followers.
Allah sent our Beloved Prophet with the intention of freeing its people from pagan ways. Yet, how many years later after Islam came and we have not changed one bit. Taking the life of one person equals to taking the lives of all mankind. May Allah Guide us in the right path.

Bunch of barbarians. If there is family honor in killing your offspring, why not make it a family outing and all jump off a tall building at once.
And this confirms – once again – that Pakistan is a backward, barbaric country with no place in the modern world. This also explains why it is a refuge for terrorists.
This incident provokes in me a sense of ntiathos,herein,i want to mention that i too am among the effectees,for my brother also got marry in such a way,and the father of that girt registered the same F.I.R against the 13members of my family,they kidnapped me and tortured me and the police never investigated for Mr.Waheed Arain current Minister Prison Department Punjab was backing them up.So it gets us to the reason WHY DO THE POLICE MEN NOT STEP IN!

I think we should diffentiate between good and wrong. The marriage which is by the will of a girl and marriage by ran from home is quiet different. Parents should investigate the willness of a girl. It is the order of Islam. But a girl ran away taking all respect of his family with him drop down all her moral values should always will treat like this.She should be stoned down in front of public to set an example. See the divorce ratio of our society. We should critise positively. Anyone who critise againt this matter I have question from them. What they would treat their girls upon acting this type of action.
