Modi and Nawaz Sharif Discuss India-Pakistan Ties
Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 4:09:47 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from India that the Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, and the newly crowned Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, are both trying to discuss bilateral issues between the countries.
The neighbouring countries have always had their differences but now the new ruling parties are trying to forget about the past in order to work towards a positive and productive future.
Officials claimed that both the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India were involved in a meeting which lasted more than everyone was expecting.
Nawaz Sharif claimed that he is currently in India to build better ties with them. This is the reason why he is currently staying in the neighbouring country to discuss and talk about the issues and the possible outcomes.
When Nawaz Sharif reached the stately Hyderabad House, Modi received him with warmth as he clasped his hands and then both the Prime Ministers posed for a photograph.
Apart of Nawaz Sharif there were other leaders present in India as well. Modi personally invited them all at his swearing in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which took place on Monday.
Pakistan is now hoping that their ties with India remain good so the two can work in harmony.
