Pakistan High Commissioner Visit Altaf Hussain in Hospital

Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Mirza visited Mutahidah Quami Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain in a London Hospital where he is being treated under the police custody. Imran Mirza was allowed to meet Altaf Hussain after the British Government responded positively to the Pakistan government request to provide counselor access.
Pakistan High Commissioner told reporters that Altaf Hussain is in high spirit and treated well in the hospital.
Imran Mirza is working as the acting High Commissioner in London, UK.
The MQM chief will be undergoing angiography procedure to assess his heart condition on Thursday. Altaf Hussain has already conducted a number of medical tests since he was moved to a private hospital after his arrest.
London Police had conducted a raid on Altaf Hussain’s residence in North London on Tuesday May 3, 2014 on the suspicions of money laundering. He was moved to a private hospital due to his health condition and he has been in the police custody since then.
